Roopa Pemmaraju is an ethical and Fair Trade, luxury womenswear line featuring original print designs by renowned Indigenous Australian artists.

Roopa is a Melbourne based fashion designer of Indian origin. Roopa successfully merges the distinctive cultures of her native and adopted lands, adapting traditional styles and techniques to suit a contemporary, glamour-seeking customer.

Roopa worked with renowned retailers Tommy Hilfiger and Madura Garments before launching her label in 2006. She has showcased her collection at IMG Lakme Fashion Week 2007, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week – Sydney (2010 & 2011), Ethical Fashion Week – Paris (2010), Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival – Brisbane (2011).

Roopa's signature is her use of exquisite fabrics: soft cotton, textured crepe, flowing chiffon and luxuriant silk, all procured from India, a country known for its rich textile heritage. Onto these gorgeous materials she embosses her stunning prints. Elaborate hand beading and ornate jewels adorn the free flowing fabrics and feminine silhouettes.
