Japanses Clothes Retailer RENOWN convened its extraordinary shareholders meeting on July 29th and aacepted Shangdong Ruyi as its first majority shareholder. Three Chinese also entered the board of directors of this company. This meant the old and famous Japanses clothes retailber becoming a subsidiary of Chinese company.
Nowadays a sampling and testing on leather shoes was conducted by Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee, 29 pairs of shoe were sampling from Shanghai markets including five pairs of men’s shoes and 24 pairs of lady’s shoe that made in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Guangdong province. The nine technical parameters were tested including appearance quality, peeling strength, heel fastness and so on.
The sampling result shows that 13 pairs of leather shoes found defects and disqualified, only 55.17% of sampling are up to the standard.
Production for fur and its products in the first half reported a 34.7% increase to 22.3 billion yuan, 13% uprising for fur clothing to 1.07 million pieces, 41.7% climbing for fur production to 12.94 pieces.
Exports for fur and its products in value showed a 45.7% growth compared with same period of last year, which stood at 560 million U.S. dollars. The imports for the same products witnessed 10.7% in value that rose to 110 million U.S. dollars
Beyonce Knowles "vamped it up" in a campaign for her latest fashion collection.
The 'Halo' singer - who runs label Dereon with her mother Tina - showed off her wild side in the biker-themed shoot as promoted the firm's winter range.
With dramatic eye make-up and a peroxide blonde wig, Beyonce is almost unrecognisable in the provocative pictures, taken by celebrity photographer Tony Duran and styled by her mother.
A source said: "Beyonce vamped it up for these pictures. It's her own clothing line and she wanted to go a bit wild with a biker-themed photo shoot. The clothes are figure hugging and sexy and she wanted the adverts to mimic that."
Beyonce has described the look as "1960s pinup girl meets futuristic biker chick".
The star also stripped naked under a duvet to promote the line's latest looks, which include dramatic studded leggings, lace biker shorts and high waisted hot pants.
The sexy singer - who poses on a motorbike in some of the pictures - can also be seen sporting a series of tattoos, including a large spider web on her left thigh.
The name Dereon was taken from Beyonce's grandmother Agnez Dereon.
Dereon is the second fashion line the singer has developed with her mother, the other is titled House of Dereon
Carrie Underwood had a simple hairdo for her wedding to cope with the humidity.
The country singer tied the knot with ice hockey player Mike Fisher last month and the bride was keen to have her blonde tresses put up becuase she didn't want her locks ruined by the heat.
Her make-up artist Melissa Schleicher said of the nuptials at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro: "It was really, really hot and it was raining around 4 o'clock, just before the wedding, so I had to think of the humidity. The hair was a concern so I did kind of an updo. I just it curled it all over and just pieced it up and pinned it with bobby pins all over, real simple."
Melissa says Carrie was so confident with what she would do with her hair the pair didn't have a practice run.
She said: "We didn't practice before the wedding or anything - we've done so many award shows and so many hairstyles, so she just lets me do what I do."
For the ceremony, Carrie wore a Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown but has admitted she changed into a strapless cocktail dress for the reception so she could showcase her dancing skills better.
She said "The wedding dress was huge, I wanted to get my boogie on, so I had to change."

Based on the Customs data, 2538 statistics-worthy enterprises data from National Bureau of Statistics, as well as the data from 15 industrial clusters and 150 key manfuacturers collected by China Home Textile Association, from Jan. to May, the home textile industry witnessed growth in production, sales and export, with profit increase, despite the cost soaring of raw material and labor. The whole situation of this industry turned to rise.
The export of home textiles kept stable growth. Besides the demand recovery from European and American markets, the export to South America, ASEAN, as well as some surrounding countries also realized big growth. The export turned to be diversified.
The production-sales-ratio of 2538 statistics-worthy enterprises was 98.12%. That??s 0.12 percentage point higer than that of same period last year. The profit rate also went up 0.43 points, with 0.12 points gain in sales profit.
More and more foreign buyers shift their footwear orders from the cities of Guangzhou, Quanzhou and Wenzhou to Chengdu, since 2004 Sichuan footwear sector maintains the growth rate of 55% in exports. According to recent announced to be eliminated enterprise list by Ministry Of Industry and Information Technology, 84 tanneries were included that will be closed by the end of September, 18 tanneries located in Wenzhou city will face the eliminated fate to be ordered to close.
It is nature rule for outdated production to be eliminated, but leather processing is not the polluted industry, Wenzhou has drawn up a proposal to build a green leather processing base to prevent environmental pollution, said Xie Rongfang, secretary general of Wenzhou Footwear And Leather Association, adding that the industry should take further step on industrial transition and restructure.
It remains two months for these tanneries to close business, and severely punishment will be taken for those enterprises violated the regulation.
